hi guys
I wanna add my own program to run command. If i type my program name in run command it should run that command.

Like when we type "cmd" on run command. It opens command prompt. Similarly i wanna access my installed program from rum command.

For example i will type "photoshop" at run command and that should run photoshop.

Is it possible or not, in windows.

I am using windows XP Sp2.

thanks for you time
:)

It is possible. Add the photoshop directory to your environment variables %path%.

I need one more help.
After editing this windows "Environment variables" i can make run my photoshop from my run command. But i have to give command like this "%photoshop%". Is there any other way, so that i can just type "photoshop" and make my photoshop run. Is it possible or not.?

You must have set the variable itself as %photoshop%. All you should have to do is name it photoshop and make sure the path is c:\...whatever.exe

i just did this and it worked:

Added this to the end of the Path variable: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\

Then I added a new variable:

Variable Name: Photoshop
Variable Value: %photoshop%

Then I went to run and typed photoshop and it loaded right up.

If you still have problems with that, here's an alternative.

Right-click the application you want to do this with & select "Create Shortcut".
Rename that shortcut to whatever you want to type into the run dialog.
Put that shortcut in your "c:\windows\system32" directory.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.
