Running programs from external HD

Hi, i recently purchased a netbook for my girlfriend but i was wondering if i am able to run programs from myexternal HD its a WD My Passport Essential. Thanks all I appreciate it.

I knew a PFC Hazlett once, of course that was maybe 7 years ago.

Yes you can run apps from external hard drives.
