saved passwords in MSIE (recovering)

Hi all
I want to ask, where does Internet Explorer saves the passwords.. and how can I get them..
I searched in google and found some softwares for recovering but they are not free.. Do you know of any Free software or commercial + crack for recovering Internet Explorer passwords.

In Mozilla FireFox I can see the saved passwords without any software.. Just.. Tools -> Options -> privacy -> saved passwords..
CAN THIS BE DONE IN ANY WAY IN INTERNET EXPLORER ???

Yes I looked at the cookie.. It seems that the password is there but its coded.. I mean There are Just numbers.. beside the word password..
