Scripting in Windows for System Admin tasks

Dear All,

I would like to use java script/Jscript to automate some/most of system administration tasks or at least user tasks. Would it be valid and easy?
And please help me to get such knowledge through Internet by providing weblinks and pointing me for PDF files
