I'm trying to install taxwise on the computers on my network. In order to do so, the tech told me I have to be able to save it on the hard drive on my main pc. He says I should be able to see the drives of all the pc's on my network when I click on my computer. I played around but haven't figured out how to do so? Any takers?

By the way, I'm running win 2k pro on the main and xp on the other, wired networking, zone alarm firewall.

thanks

What he is referring to is called "mapped drives". You need to go to My Network Places on the computer that you are installing the tax software and then view the entire network, double click on your workgroup/domain and you should see a list of computers. Find the one that you are needing which is your "C:" Drive, it is probably just a folder called C by default (you must frist share the "C:" on your computer). Then right click the folder and left click map network drive. It will prompt you on what drive letter you want and then click OK. Now when you go into my computer there will be a new category of network drives and the drive you mapped should be there. 8)
