As reported by Arstechnica, the final build of Service Pack 2 for Vista and 2008 Server is read to be downloaded and installed. At the moment it is not available via Automatic Updates.

Hi Don, I wanted to post something up here about; already updated to Service pack 2 Vista Business, about 2 - 3 days. It is working like usual. I just wonder why grinch said it was not available for automatic updates -- the same day that I read this thread I received an automatic update from Microsoft.

According to the article I read it stated that it wasn't going to be available for Auto Update until June.
Quote:
More details on SP2 are available on TechNet. According to this document, SP2 is scheduled to begin arriving via Automatic Updates on June 30, 2009. If you don't want to download it from the Microsoft Download Center, try checking manually for updates on Windows Update.

My 2008 Servers are running SP2 and so far so good. I have not updated my workstation yet.

Not sure if this was intentional, but the 32- and 64-bit links appear to point to the same location.
