How do i enable the smilies to animate, they don't work for me..?

I have multimedia clicked in i.e, but still my board smilies don't animate!

Everyone else can see them, i can't... :cry: i have norton and zone alarm.

In Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab

Make sure under multimedia that "play animations in web pages" is checked.
"There's no place like 127.0.0.1 except for ::1."

I did that already atno, could it be Zone alarm or Norton do you think..?

Or maybe something in ACP..maybe i should ask that in PHP forum !! there is nothing else i can think thats causing the problem.

I'm not sure. I hadn't seen the problem like that. I knew that setting would affect it. You can also stop animations by hitting the Exc button after the page displays.

You might want to check your settings and make sure you have it set to look for newer versions of the page everytime. I don't think that's it, but if you're viewing cached versions, that may do it. Not likely though.

I serieously doubt that the antivirus or firewall would have any effect. Essentially, I think something is set to stop the animations as soon as the page displays.

Do you get the same problem if you view on a different browser? If not, then it has to be something with IE.
