SORTING PROGRAMS

When you press START>ALL PROGRAMS you are prsented with a list of programs. How can you sort these into categories so as to reduce the size of the list?

I have tried START>(right click)EXPLORE>START MENU>PROGRAMS but this does not present the same list of programs and you cannot fully sort from here.

Any help would be appreciated.

What o/s are you using?

If it is XP or win2k you will have to do it from the actual profile name, usually within Documents and Settings...


I suspect you are trying to do it from 'all users' which wont have all the programs listed...

You are right, and I had never realised the connection between Administrator, All Users and me and how the programme references had become muddled up between the 3.

I am now ell sorted.
