I had to buy a new hard disk and i installed windows on it, Turns out my previous hard disk is now empty maybe because i accidently formatted it. Is there anyway i can recover my files from that drive because i had alot of usefull stuff on that drive and i really need it. Im not writting anything on that drive so that the data can be recovered. Is there any software that can help me do that ? I really need the data.

What makes you say it's empty? Did you try a USB HD enclosure?

Its empty because i formatted it by mistake. Now i have bought a new hard disk and installed windows on that and the formatted hard disk is still connected and the drive shows that its empty. I've been trying a few recovery software and they've been reporting some bad sectors on that drive too

Ah so now my new hard drive is also having problems !! Now i cant understand what the issue is.. Could it be that my power supply is not working properly which is the reason why i have around 3 Failed hard drives in the last 2-3 months ?

Anyway just now my hard drive made a noise and i got an error in the bar below a yellow exclamation mark which said that there was an error in saving a file or something like that.

Anyway is there any software available with which i can fix this? I mean yeah probably i wont be able to fix the hard drive but is there any software which could you know block out the damaged area of the hard drive or something like that ?

Edit: great now one of the drives is not showing up :(
