No Sound

Recently, I have uninstalled something called Avance Audio or something like that, and now I cannot hear sound. I try to get to the Volume Control and it says it doesn't exist, is there any way I can fix this. I am using a Windows XP and I am very confused. Please help!

Look at the device manager for any yellow or red marks.
