Wonder who can help?

I installed an SSD (60GB) with windows 7 and I want to use my 1TB HDD for data (as I will soon run out of space otherwise)

The purpose of this is to boot the machine quicker and load apps quicker.

I followed a tutorial online to the T
( ... timization)

Everything went smooth.

I then went to install skype and got errors of missing files.

I believe this was todo with the paths set in the registry (appdata)

So to confirm, I went back into regedit and changed the hkeys back. Created a new user (so the user profile / data sits on the SSD not the HDD)

Tried installing skype and everything worked.

Can anyone advice on work arounds for this, (or give me a better tutorial on doing this that works)

the best thing that i do and it dont matter if its a SSD or not. I use multiple drives on my computer also while one is just OS. During the install of the software where it asks the path to install the program just change that to the other hard drive.
