This is after I finished battling conduit, search.protect and some other malware on my site. There are two entries in that log that I am trying to remove
Quote:
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {171c9400-3970-45dc-a91a-baad745bce2d} - (no file)
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {6e881183-2230-4001-95f8-2177395d7bbf} - (no file)

and everytime I check and hit "Fix checked", they just stay... Hijackthis seems to remove them, it runs... and when I redo the scan they are still there.

Another thing that I noticed in there and have a question about is why do I have googleupdate repeating under a slightly different name?

Quote:
O23 - Service: Служба Google Update (gupdate) (gupdate) - Google Inc. - C:\Program Files\Google\Update\GoogleUpdate.exe
O23 - Service: Служба Google Update (gupdatem) (gupdatem) - Google Inc. - C:\Program Files\Google\Update\GoogleUpdate.exe

And yet another thing... what are the following?
Quote:
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dll
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dll

Should I worry about them?

If anyone notices something else in there, please let me know. (This laptop seems to be much faster then it was before I got to working on cleaning it up :D )

All I can find by doing research is that the following are part of Microsoft® Windows Live ID
Quote:
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dll
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dll

The Google update service appears legit however it is the wrong language(suspicious perhaps) and without thoroughly going through the computer myself their are an overwhelming amount of possibilities for what your stubborn toolbar and button could be. Maybe a text file with your exported registry keys would help me search for clues if you want it pursued further.
