O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

I don't see a key logger. However, I would delete the BHO entry above.

I didn't see one at all but it can't hurt to download, update & run anti malware malewarebytes.org

If you do a lot of online banking, I would suggest using a separate machine that you shutdown as soon as your done. Do you have a wireless router?

Ok.. i just want to make sure that the keylogger isnt hidden somewhere else... i downloaded malewarebytes and spybot search and destroy and they both came up with no malicious files or anything... and i don't have the comfort of using another machine for my banking... i do have a wireless router but i dont use the wireless... all my stuff is wired straight to the computer/router/wall. I'm sorry i keep asking the same questions.. but i just want to make sure... is there anywhere else the keylogger could be hidden? or.. if i did have a keylogger would it have shown up in my log or show up in spybot or malware?

Also.. would you say it would be safe for me to continue playing the video game i was playing? It was world of warcraft and i have to enter a password to login.. you think i would be okay since malware/spybot and you didnt detect / see anything in my log?

I don't see a keylogger. As far as I can see, your machine is clean.

I don't know anything about games so I can't tell you if they are safe. If you aren't using wireless, disable it in the router.

Okay.. i disabled it.. i had the wireless secured(passworded) and i only had it for my psp.. and when my girlfriend comes over with her laptop.. so if she comes over i can just enable it and it will work, correct?

And with the game... i just wanted to make sure i didnt have a keylogger anywhere because he would get my username/pw for wow if i did.. and your fairly certain that the keylogger couldn't be hidden anywhere else?

I posted the updated log because i ran HJT again (not as admin) and a window popped up saying...

For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file.If any hijacked domains are in this file, HiJackThis may NOT be able to fix this.

If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type:

notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

and press enter.Fine the line(s) HiJack this reports and delete them.Save the file as 'hosts'. (with quotes) and reboot

For Vista: Simply, exit HiJackThis, right click on the HiJackThis icon, choose 'Run as administrator'.

I do run vista so i just ran as admin and posted my new log above.. is this nothing at all? or what..

That is because Vista locks the HOSTS file. It is normal.

You know how many people have come here after clicking that same link and did not have a keylogger? I have lost track, you are not alone.
