Well....

I think someone is watching my computer via internet. I noticed when almost my icons vanished in my right corner and my mic had alot of static whist talking to my friend (using astro a30 so static should be at minimum). I decided to check my mic levels in the control panel but found something quite odd.... everything is at 30. I quickly changed it to 100 but nothing happened so I checked again... the mic levels were at 47. Obliviously, I paniced and kept checking if there is any further adjustments.. 2 minutes later, everything turned back to 30. I decided to Sh*t myself, restart the computer, scan with AVG and type this post.

-Using a laptop with a wireless connection

-Windows Vista

As you may tell... I don't have much knowledge about computers

Another problem

My internet connection disconnects often, anyone have any helpful tips?

I suggest Spybot Search and destroy but what your saying really does not point out a hijacker as if i was monitoring someone i would be more interested in their logs of what they have done to find more information. I personally think your just being paranoid about the situation.

Use anti Virus and Anti Spyware and make sure to use a firewall to control internet access and password protect your computer and keep the pwd to yourself as friends or family/girlfriend could install something and monitor you but who knows. there could be 10,000 different situations on the topic.

Like i said just increase your security and you will be fine. :)

If you have more information please post it up and i will be more then happy to take a look at it.
