I was watching tech-tv today, and I saw something that may interest a lot of you that have ever had to reformat and lost data. There is a live xp cd out there, much like knoppix. check this link out http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

it can access ntfs!

you can also pretty much customize how you want the cd when you burn the ISO, you can have virus scans that are already on your cd on it.....check the link out and burn you a copy

I love BartPE. I've used it on my friends' systems as well as mine to do virus scans and spyware removal (ad aware). It's the utimate recovery/rescue disk.

This is awesome.
Only thing is it says you can't use BartPE and Windows XP on the same machine.

I'm confused. You can't use it if you have Windows XP installed on the machine you are trying to access with it?
