Is there a way I can foward all my calendar appoinments and the Task items to another user and somehow be able to automatically add those items and calendar appointments in their personal calendar and task? We have a common Calendar and Task setup on one account and now we want to transfer those calendar appointments and task items to each person's personal calendar and task. I like to know if this is possible.

By the way we use Outlook 2002 version.

Any help is appreciated!

are you using any version of Exchange? it's easy to do it there if you are.

In outlook, it's also easy, but extra steps to take. I know for a fact that
Help is a good start for this.

Yes, we are using MS Exchange Server 2000. If I select all of the items, I was able to forward those items...however, on the receiving end, I wasn't sure how to add those items into the Task folder or Calendar.

more than likely, it will be received as an email or appointment to be
accepted or denied by the recipient.

In the case of the Task items, it is listed as attachment...again, the problem is I'm not sure how to add it into my Task folder.

drag and drop. any attachment to an email can be moved and dropped
into the appropriate type of attachment (task to task, contact to contact)

Okay, the drag a drop thing works...but is there an easier or perhaps faster way to do this? I mean if we have 50 items in the task or calendar...I'll have to drag them 50 times. I believed I can select all and drag them at once...but is there a way I can have those items in just one file....like the Distribution List that contains many contacts. If not, I guess I can live with it.

Many thanks for your help.

Here's something I found out. Since the Task and Calendar is shared with all of our staff...but because the Calendar and Task folder does not below to each staff, the reminder doesn't work. And this is why I want to copy those tasks and calendar appoinments. Now, since it is shared and I can see them in my Folder List, is there a way I can just drag from the shared Calendar and Task folder to my Calendar and Task folder?

i know it can be done by granting access to calendars from the exchange
side of things. But you want these things to show up on everyone's
calendar and task list, from all seperate things, and I just don't think it
can be done. Selecting all the items at once, and dragging works so why
not just do it that way? I may not completely understand your proeblem. :?

wasn't a more clear way to do it, but i'm sure there is as i'm not all that
familiar with exchange in detail.

Since the drag drom the shared folder can be dropped into our personal task and calendar folers, do you have information on how to create a macro that would automatically drag and drop or copy and paste into the user's task and calendar folders?
