unhide files and folders

i am unable to unhide files and folders. can anyone help me out how to restore the folder options?

Are you saying that you don't see the folder options when you click on tools in explorer?

As a temporary work around try
attrib -h *.* from a command prompt in the \ directory.

no. folder option is still dere but when I click on to show hidden files n folders just nothin happen i.e. hidden files n folders don't get showed up. thanks.

Make sure that you are using an administrative account.
