When i plug a USB device into my computer it says that the device will run better through a HI-SPEED USB 2.0 port. I have service pack 2 installed and have tried to update the drivers but they say the drivers are up to date.

How do i update my USB drivers from USB 1.0 to USB 2.0?

I do have them ports but when i reformatted the drivers i currently installed were only USB 1.0. I installed Windows XP which didnt have service pack 2 on so i installed it seperatly. But nothing seems to have changed.

The reason i asked was because it was takin me so long to burn a disc.
Before i reformatted it took bout 5-10mins to burn a CD now it takes 20-25mins and thats burning at 48x.

Maybe i should just check it out at my local PC shop see what they suggest
thanks anyway!

I can't find any definitive answer on HP's website regarding this PC. All i could find was that it had USB ports but no specification on 2.0 or not.
