I have a Asus N61jq series notebook, with an Intel Core i7 @ 1.60GHz, and 64 bit processor. I am trying to hook up two monitors to it, one via the HDMI and one on the VGA, while still using the laptop screen. I can hook them both up at the same time, but my computer only lets me use one at a time. Do you guys know how I could use both at the same time? Essentially having 3 screens?

I doubt you will able to to use both outputs and the built in monitor. You may however be able to use both outputs and turn on the built in monitor.

It really comes down to what graphics card is being used. Unless you have eyefinity support you will only be able to use two of the three outputs (Where your built in monitor is one of the "outputs")

thanks SpooF, I thought I would have to do something to that effect. Currently I'm just running the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, so that prob won't do the trick.
