I have a Gametronics Pantronics 7.1 Headphones and I want to use them with my speaker system I got plugged in to my computer (HD Surround Sound). But it either works with the speakers (but not my headphones) or the other way around. I use my speakers just about as much as I use my headphones and if I configure my computer to use speakers, I would need to restart my computer for it to recognize and use my USB headphones... I don't know how to configure my computer so I would be able to use my USB Headphones and speakers at the same time.

well i keep both plugged in to my computer at all times and the programs that use my head set i have the program use the headset. so like i have itunes playing through the speakers and teamspeak going through my headset. make your default as your speakers and set your games or what ever to your headset. i beleave that is what you are asking?

Sometimes I play games with my headset and sometimes through speakers and the same with the internet.

I used to have cheap headphones that you plug into the jack and they will work and if I wanted to use the speakers I'll just turn the speakers on and they'll play.

Now if I use the USB headphones the speakers don't work, and if I change the settings to get the speakers to work, I'll have to restart the system to get my headphones to work again.

And how does that help Bogey with his current issue?
