The other day, my friend's usb drive had all of the containing folders copied into .exe formats. The anti-virus program picked these copies as no good. Lucky for her, all her folders were there with the files in them, so she only needed to delete the bad exe files. Just a moment ago, I needed a file which was stored on my usb drive. Only to see the same thing that had happened to my friend's files had also happened to mine, except that all were exe files, the folders were all gone or written over. I'm guessing that I lost these files, as these new exe files are all 272KB. The last time I used that usb device was about 2 weeks ago, to get something printed from a store. I'm guessing the store's computer is infected. Has anyone else encountered this, are there any remedies?

Thanks.
