Post 3+ Months Ago

I did some spring cleaning today, and in doing so I tore down every computer here to relocate them to a different part of the room. When I booted Windows Vista I got a blue screen, 3 times. Safe mode worked just fine. After trying safe mode I tried normal mode again and this time it got to my desktop before just freezing up, twice.

I don't know why, but for some reason I thought to switch the order of the USB cords in the back of the system. In one slot I have my mouse, in another slot I have a 4-way splitter that my keyboard plugs in to along with phones and cameras when I need to move things around. After I switched the order of the USB cables, the system quit crashing. When it booted up it did the whole looking for drivers thing for my USB devices.

I'm baffled. I remember having problems with Windows and USB devices, but I think that was like 6 years ago with Win2K and 98. Not Vista.
