HP DV2750
Windo Vista 32 Home Premium

Whilst playing on a game last week, the sgreen on my son's computer suddenly went blank. All efforts to restart have failed, except it will load in Safe Mode.

Have run Malaware to see if it is spyware, but everything comes bck clear.

Using the Vista repair facility also drawas a blank.

Any help wouyld be appreciated.

Run msconfig & go to the startup tab. Disable whatever you don't need to load at boot time, which is probably most everything. Click apply, close & reboot. Click OK after it reboots.

Also look at the event viewer for errors.

Thank you very much for your help.

Have done this but it still will not boot normally, only into Safe Mode.

Where will I find the event viewer?

You are looking for errors, in red, that may explain the boot problem.
