Since a few days, my browser can't display certain sites correctly anymore. Some sites the CSS don't load or not all images are loaded. I tried both IE and FF...

Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks!

here is a screenshot

We used to get a similar problem at uni, HTML would always load fine, but sometimes JS/CSS/Images/Whateverelse just wouldn't load. In our case, the issue was with the outward-most cache on our (stupidly complex, expensive to run) firewall. The solution was to just keep hard refreshing (Control-F5) until everything came through.
If you're on a home ISP, I couldn't comment on the issue, but the solution is likely the same.

if you are on a cable modem, you should be plugging into a hub/router, then the computer into the hub/router. That is atleast how we had ours set up ...

If that is the case have you tried that computer directly to the internet with no hub/router?

Have you applied any updates lately, security fixes, anything of that sort?

Do you have automatic updates on set to automatically install ... that might have changed your settings unbeknownst to you ...

I've answered this before but here it is again

Inadvertantly you enabled high contrast mode in the accessibility options.
