I installed WinXP on my net connected to the inet by D-Link router. This router is running DHCP. All computers including one with XP are OK but new three PC's do not see DHCP. When I put IP manually with all information include gateway I can see all my network but not my router. I am not able even to ping to it! I had this problem a few months ago and after reinstalation it was OK but I do not want to reinstall my PC every time when something changes on my net. All other PCs are without any problem and I can rebuild all the network. Only XP are my "troublemakers".
I forgot to write that when I change DHCP to W2K server I obtain IP address immediatelly but I still cannot go to internet. All last issued patches from MS I allready installed.
Could someone help me?
