upgrade to windows XP.... i agree win ME bites it... i would rather have windows 98SE than ME...

Haha, yah Windows tends to do that. I do not crash that much with XP however. When I had Windows 98 I would always crash.

ya i have win 98SE i dont crash but i dont like the look of xp i know you can change it but still win98 is working fine 4 me

Well what I really like about Windows XP compared to 98 is the speed difference. I never bought Windows ME or anything else after Windows 98 until XP. Anyway after finally replacing Windows 98 with Windows XP the bootup time was incredibly faster. I am able to boot up in about 20 seconds now on a 1.2 ghz, 1 gig ram, 64 meg vidoe card, computer. I have found it to be more stable too. But then again its just my opinion.

processor speed is debatable, but I would SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND not having less
than 256mb of RAM. Otherwise, it sucks it dry too quickly. Other than that, I am
a HUGE fan of WinXP.

Just reintalled from a brand new cd last night...smooth as buttah.
