hello ozzu...

i'm new to the forum...and i was see if anyone can help me with a issue i have...

i get this blue screen saying "Unmountable Boot Volume" <<<  never had that before

i've read other forums saying in ways to fix it, but unfortunately not of them apply to the OS, since most of the OS is for Win XP PRO

OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition (didn't come with windows cd)
Viao PC

****

one think i would say is that the night before, the HD made a "clack clack clack" noise, :| :| :| i didn't pay to much attention to it...but the next day when i turn it on...the blue screen came up...

so if anyone can help....will be much appreciated...

thks

Clack clack sounds like a failed drive, so even if you had the CD, it's might not work. Your best bet is to find a friend with any CD that has the product key, buy a new HD & try to install it. If not, there are some cheap laptops for under $400.
