I used to have Windows 2000 server w/ ADC + and another Windows
server with Exchange 2000 installed until I lost the ADC, so
I was forced to rebuild the w2k-Server/ADC from the ground up.

I have installed W2KServer/ADC w/ pre-windows 2000 mode and
rejoined W2KServer/Exchange, everything looks good except, that
I have to supply DOMAIN/ACCOUNT/ALIAS account path name in order
to connect to IMAP. Previously, all I needed to supply was account
name (or the alias) and I cannot remember how I got this to work.

So, at this point, I changed the ADC and for Exchange 2000 into native
mode, checked that no users are in the Pre-Windows Compatibility Access
group, and I still see "Pre-windows 2000" for all user's accounts.

How can I change the ADC and/or Exchange so that it requires only the
account or alias login name?

Thanks-
