Windows - Delayed Write Failed

I keep getting error mesages like these:

I'm running Windows 2K. Does anyone know what's causing this problem? Fixes?

A local drive is malfunctioning. The system timed out before the drive saved the data. Disable write-caching. If that doesn't fix your problem, then I strongly suggest you archive important data because you driving is heading south.

Check your warrantee.

Well, I found out that my computer is beyond repair (crashed whenever I tried to install SP 3) :cry:

I reformatted and things are much better... ;)
