I've spent hours on this but am getting nowhere.

I bought an almost new pc with Windows 7 ultimate loaded. I have no backup discs so I'm "as is".

I use Internet Explorer 9 but have the same problem when I delete 9 and use ie8.

The internet opens fine, but several web pages have hyperlinks which will not open when clicked.

I tried a microsoft hotfix that did nothing.

I tried running regsvr32 urlmon.dll which said OK
each of: regsvr32 shdocvw.dll, regsvr32 actxprxy.dll, regsvr32 oleaut32.dll, regsvr32 mshtml.dll, regsvr32 browseui.dll, all came up with "dllregisterServer was not found"

I downloaded Firefox, which is all OK.

Where do I go from here, please?

Yes.
The only one that is listed there is one of my banks, Halifax online.
I'd like to be able to use any links without having to specify them all.
How would I do this, please?
I've tried setting the security level to the lowest, ie accept all cookies, but it makes no difference.

Hi,

I am having the same problems. For example, the links within this website some work and some don't. I also have been unable to use the printing functions within ebay and paypal that seem similar to the other navigation problems. I have tried to Java suggestions but nothing works. I know this is no help to you but hope there is someone out there who could help us both.
