Anyone know of a problem with windows media player that makes it play faster than normal. Any streaming media, cd, or wave that is played through, or uses windows media player sounds as though the chipmunks are singing.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Could be a codec problem. I have never heard of that. I'll look into it though.

it is not the codec, the problem is ur sound card, uninstall and then reboot ur system.

later on the system will install ur sound card.
and then i think it should work.

if u will do it manually make sure u install the proper driver.
good luck.
