I have 2gb of RAM and 160gb of hard disk space. What should the paging size be? I ask this because apparently 2gb of ram is not enough to run games on my system(they just crash) which used to run just fine on my old 512mb ram computer.

I use Windows XP Media center edition. Thanks a lot.

It's usually 1 1/2 times the RAM. 2GB should be plenty.

It is common to keep your virtual memory twice the size of your physical RAM, so you'd want 4GB.

Virtual memory won't help your games run. 2GB of memory is plenty to run most modern games. If you're experiencing problems, there's probably a conflict somewhere, or you might have a bad stick of ram.

Check your event logs and device manager to see why might be causing the crashes.
