Windows CE/PDA: Can you install normal Window Apps???

Hi,

Can you install normal window apps on a Windows CE OS?

With USB that comes with pdas can you plug any usb into it?? like a external HDD or a IR??

Normal Windows apps cannot run on PDAs. All CE systems have a totally different CPU.

In the future it might sometimes work as .NET applications come up. It is quite possible for a .NET application to be compatible with the .NET compact framework used on CE.
