Has anyone used this yet? I had just noticed today an Optional Update on Windows Updates. Had never actually heard of it prior, but it looks interesting. From quick reading, I take it that it is a more modern solution to the DOS command line?

It is part of 2008 Server. I haven't used it yet though, I am not much of a command line guy.

actually after posting I just noticed the Windows Update was for Powershell 1 for XP SP2 and higher. The download links at Microsoft are down at the moment so haven't been able to dig up much info yet, but did find a Getting Started Guide that I'll look over later.
