Windows Xp Problem: Unmountable Boot Volume

guys any 1 HELP PLEASE. at 1st theres nothing wrong wif the machine till i shutdown it coz its lagging, den when i start back the pc all de sudden a chkdsk was executed well then after dat my pc restarted itself, at 1st i tot it was ok but suddenly when before loading windows xp(not proffessional) it restarted back itself again n again when i tried to boot it up. i have tried all the f8 advance startup but no luck all just kept on restarting again.theres 1 dat shows disable auto restart den i cna see the error (unmountable disk ...) i inserted my xp disc and tried recovery repair than i type chkdsk(Only)no(/p,etc). at 75% it stops and said have 1 or more unrecoverable data. den i tried fixmbr or others after chdsk den i tried restarting again my com, no luck.

i want to ask wat does the "gigabyte xpress recovery" for? and wad happen if i were to execute recovery from it, will my data in program file, my documents be gone?

wad if i just insert xp disc and tried installing wen its alredy installed, i figure dat it ask to reformat the partition but, no way. i need my datas its very important.

As u already tried chkdsk and ur are not still able to boot

so what i can advice u is to perform repair installation and see if it works

If even repair installation fails the perform clean installation and after clean installation install any data recovery software like :

recuva (Its free)
Recover my files
