:cry

Hello!

When I try to reinstall my Windows 98 SE CD the following message appears:

"A fatal exception has occurred at 0028:C02980CC in VXD VWIN32 (05) + 00000BF4.
The current application will be terminated."

I have reinstalled the Windows 98 SE CD before, but I believe that one or more files on my hard drive may be corrupt or missing.

How can I overcome this problem?

Thanks

Microsoft indicates it may be because of a 3rd party Desktop Management Interface utility:

Thanks. I've visited the site address you gave, and I'll follow up their recommendations.
