Hello everyone...

Just let you know if you didnt URL Microsoft Windows SP2 is out.
It is awesome i installed it last night, i didnt see the point in buying a firewall (Zonealarm) as the SP2 has is included.

The download took me a good 3 hours, on a 512k connection, but worth it. Thats all i can say.

Its security features are really secure lol...

Heres the download link:

Now that the release is official I will have to download it. I read an article on it a month ago and it seems Microsoft did good things with the built in firewall and some other features. I've seen SP2 on the p2p networks and resisted the temptation to download it.

Odd, that link provided doesn't work and there is nothing in MS website that mentions SP2. SP1a and SP1 I see but no SP2. A google search revealed nothing about the release of SP2 either. Seems rather odd. But I could also be overlooking it.

I looked as well but could not find anything about an official release. Is it still being beta tested?

I also tried windows update but it wasn't offered.

Pretty poor software, even for a beta.

I was getting several black screens. I uninstalled it.

It works 100% fine for me.

I love the integrated Wireless firewall also..

Absolutly no problems for me.

Maybe you need quite a bit of space to install it or a faster drive.

I personally have a problem with putting the words "Windows" and "Awesome" in the same sentence... :P

Unfortunatly, 80% didn't get the proper computer education (including me) to use other type of OS.

I think we are using the most incredibly well marketed product, not the best, not the worst
