One of my favorite "Winblows" tricks is: setting the screen saver to a DOS prompt (only tested in XP home).... heres how to do it:
<1> make a copy of C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe and rename it (prompt.scr) and place it in the syste32 directory...
<2> now open display properties (right click on desktop) now select the screen saver tab, now click on the dropdown menu "prompt" should be displayed if not restart your computer for the changes to take effect, then apply the screen saver it will popup when you hit apply.
<3> now instead of loading a screen saver your computer will open a DOS prompt, you can also change the logon screen saver by replacing C:\windows\system32\logon.scr with the renamed cmd.exe... Have fun

Registery HAck:- win button + R > regedit > local_machine > software > microsoft > command processor > change value to 9.
Now when in DOS, instead of typing i.e. cd program files, you can now do cd p +tab, this will then type the rest for you.

Since I've started using firefox, Slim Browser has lain dormant. I decided to put it to use as a 'tabbed explorer'. It configures nicely as an explorer window and you get the benefits of tabbed browsing.
I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this but I thought I would offer it up.
Cheers,
