A few of my computers running Windows XP (SP1 & SP2) and even when I has different OS's other than Linux or FreeBSD have had serious problems with utilizing dual nics. Now I know with a single network it would be completely useless. and even when I have one hooked to the internet and another hooked to a local network, no matter how I set the priority on them, I lose network connectivity (except, oddly for the local network).

Bridging them would probably be eaqually as useless.

Any opinions on this matter? For now I leave one disabled (dual onboard nics). I would really want to use them, even if its no real gain, just for the heck of it.

Are thye using the same IRQ and is so are you seeing any conflicts in device manager? If you are, try changing the IO range for one until the conflict disappears, or see if you can force an unused IRQ.

Let me check when I get out of work. I don't think they are, but on the a7n8x-e deluxe I would have no idea on how to change it. I'll look at it when I get home.
