Sorry For the misunderstanding i should have elaborated more. i just recently purchased this key and it says cant validate product key so im wondering if somehow that someone stole my cd key prior to me buying it. i meant is there something i can do to fix this. I DONT BELIEVE IN PIRACY

Even if someone stole your CD Key it should work on both machines. The theives and yours.

Also you should report it to Microsoft as stolen(not sure how)

Where did you purchase it from? Take it back and tell them it does not validate and for them to give you a new one!

he Purchased a "KEY" he didnt really buy the software(cd etc), I think, he paid for the key off of a Unreliable source, so, he gave you a generated key for your money
