Post 3+ Months Ago

I'm Web sharing some folders using Windows 2003 Server, they are accessible from internet, but the users cannot download with them with any download managers (DAP, FlashGet, Getright, ......) exept the windows build-in one!

Also when accessing one of the folders a password is wanted, if the user enter USERNAME: EVERYONE - it's ok, but how to get rid of that dialog, I don't want any passwords!

Sorry if i have messed up the topics/forums, butyou see that this is my first post!

Its very Urgent!

First check your permissions for the folder that's giving you grief and make sure they are the same as the others. You may have inadvertantly set different permissions for "everyone" for that folder.

As far as the download thing -- I have no idea why that is happening.
