Winxp Pro - Just installed - Strange Winxp Freeze - unknown

I just reinstalled my pc like a week ago

I know my pc is clean - It preforms very well. I've never had a problem with malware or rootkits or anything.

Basically my WINXP JUST STOPS! It doesn't respond to the mouse or keyboard

Yep - I can try ctrl alt delete and everything...Inputs don't work

it happens AT RANDOM TIMES!

Sometimes the winxp does not freeze - Then it does

Now i have banged my mouse and keyboard, I have knocked over my tower a few times.

I switched my mouse - THE PROBLEM PERSISTS!

I am using a saitek usb keyboard. I'll try switching that

I'VE NEVER HAD SUCH PROBLEM

The whole system just freezes

And get this

I HAVE TO HOLD THE POWER BUTTON FOR 8 SECONDS.

For it to turn off!

hA It doesn't even respond to the power off

Look at the event viewer for error messages and look at the device manager for hardware conflicts.
