Is a MS Word document compatible in Mac?

I know this is a windows forum, but I like to know if anyone has tried open a MS Word document in a Mac and is it competible?

should be if you have office for the mac and are compatible versions according to microsft

Thanks! Because I have people emailing that PDF file are not competible in Mac that is why I was thinking of changing my PDF file online to a MS Word document file. Some of the format in a PDF will not show up or be very different in a Mac than a PC.

pdf's are compatible with mac's, and far more compatible
than an MS product.

You just need to install the mac version adobe reader -

Thanks, UNFLUX. That's what I thought but I have people from the Mac side complaining. In any case, I'll sure tell them to install the mac version. The problem is we don't have a Mac machine here to really test what it looks like so it's hard to guess.

both of my posts are talking about acrobat. pdf is a standard
format across all platforms, so it's going to work the same on
a mac as a pc.
