Hey I recently ended up infecting my computer with the worm.win32.netsky virus. It keeps making security warnings popup on my desktop, and it has installed three bogus icons on my desktop as well. My Zone Alarm for some reason doesn't pick it up, and so far everything I've tried hasn't worked to remove it.

Here is the log from the HijackThis scan. Thanks in advance for any information you can offer on this problem!

Try running Avira's AntiVir Removal Tool:
http://www.avira.com/en/support/antivir_removal_tool_for_windows.html

I won't promise it'll work, as it hasn't worked for some others, but it worked for me when I got netsky (a while back now).

If it doesn't work, check out grinch's solution:

No luck on either of those, the popups keep coming. :(

Looking at Grinch's solution, he says to delete this, but it does not come up on my HijackThis Log:

Probably doesn't have anything to do with fixing the problem but couldn't hurt to mention it.

Reboot into Safe Mode by pressing F8 during startup, rerun Hijack This and select the following and fix
