Ok, I know this doesnt fit in this thread all snuggly tight and w/e but since videos fit in the category of pics I was wondering if anyone knew of a ok-good desktop recorder, example: Fraps (cept I gotta pay for that one)

If anyone knows one please reply, I will greatly appreciate it

How do you mean 'Desktop Recorder'?

Simply taking a Screenshot of it?

I dont understand how you would 'record' your desktop.

You want Camtasia

You most likely won't find better.

Thx, but do you know of any screen recorders that are freeware? so i don't have to deal with the 30-day bs or the watermark crap in the video

What about Captivate by Macromedia. I believe thats what it does. Records your desktop or whatever software you are using at the time. It's not free but judging by the standards of other Macromedia products I would guess that it is probrably the better choice.

I've actually been using camstudio lately. It's open source and is quite simple and works well
