I am trying to merge and edit video from 2 different cameras. I have them both loaded into computer. Is it possible to run them side by side in Final Cut Express 4.0.1? I want to take best scenes from each video and make one video.

I tried that but it puts the videos end to end. I was wanting to put them side by side so i could merge the best scenes from each one 0n the same timeline.

Sony Vegas studio video editor is a really sweet program, should try using that instead.

The problem i am trying to resolve is now we are filming with two digital cameras, and loading the cards and burning each video to two dvds. We than run these dvds through a mixing board and make a DV tape. We than run the finished product back through computer so we can put titles and credits. The finished product is a little grainy. We are trying to get a simpler process and hopefully get a clearer end product.
