How did they do Po’s hair? I want to create a tennis ball for this commercial gig one of my friends invited me to participate in. I want the ball to have this texture, any hints?

I would imagine Dreamworks hired a bunch of programmers to develop a proprietary system of creating hair.

What 3d app are you using? Most all of them have some sort of hair/fur plugin these days...
If at first you don't succeed F1... If that doesn't work try Google!
