Hey guys,
Looking into streaming football games on our website.
At first we just want live audio.
Then later we will be adding non-live video.(due to the state athletic rules, we can't "video broadcast live" without permi$$ion)
Then if the AD likes it enough they will get permi$$ion to broadcast the video live.

So to get this accomplished what should we do, here is our current/projected setup.

Audio
We have mics currently from the announcers, maybe add a crowd pickup. We have a cheap pa system and some output options on our mixer. We have pc or mac laptops, and soundbooth/garageband.

Video
Later, after the game I want to post the video to the website. Looking at FLV, have the cs3/4 master collection, so premiere, after effects, flash all there. We have one camera input so far. Our camera is a HD sony http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/sto ... 1665291500

Publishing Content
Any recommendation on what software to use to set up the live/archived content? How do we get it from recording it on the laptop to the server to stream?

We have VM ESX servers, so setting up fedora/etc for an open source broadcast server will work to feed the content.

We can also order anything <$1k to get this accomplished.

Any info would be great!
