swf file does not show the video when played on its own!

My swf video file works on the computer, but on on its own, when I just click the swf the video does not show up.
Please help!!

Could you please elaborate more. I understand it works on your computer, is the location it is not working when you upload it to your website? If so did you remember to not only upload the the flash file, but the video file as well (possibly has a .flv extension), and any other files that go with it?

That is what I figured out, is that always what i need to do?
Does the swf file containing the video needs to be uploaded along with the flv?
