I'm not much of a multimedia editor type person, the only App I extensively use is Photoshop CS3, it's fun and I know how to get around in the Application. I have tried Paint.Net, but it just didn't have the same strength that PS has, I have also tried Corel Draw 12, which was very user friendly and easy to understand, it just lacked some of the photoshop power, not much though ... I have also worked with flash a little bit which was fun, but I didn't have time to learn action script at that point in time, and then I lost interest ...
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...

I really like Corel Draw... used it a while back and created some awesome pictures that are not on my computer. It was in multimedia station at some class in school. I put that image on a mouse pad and use it right now

Unfortunately I don't have Corel Draw on my computer...

I use Total video converter of Effectmatrix Inc.I think is a very powerful App.
It can convert all popular video/audio format.I always use it to convert some video/audio files which is not available for My Sony Ericsson mobile to the available formats. And the quality is fine.

I also find a good DVD Author software on the web of this company,Total video2dvd author.

I use sony vegas studios. I love to edit videos and photographs that i have taken during my travel. Using this software makes the movie and photos like a real movie directed by me.

I have already been a Photoshop user for 2 years. I find it a very good tool for video editing and creating animations.

I use Gimp for photo editing, Free Studio (DVDVideoSoft) for quick conversion.
But I'm just a beginner. Still these apps may be useful for everyone.
